We'll apparently have an ID card bill within 4 weeks:

"He added that the government had won over those who opposed the controversial measure for civil liberties reasons."

When did this happen, and how? As someone who opposed and continues to oppose the introduction of ID cards, I'm not aware of the government even trying to "win me over"...
